to be able to edit any footage in premiere Pro you need to create a project and import your footage to the create-project
in this short tutorial, I’ll explain how to do that so let’s dive in 🙂
how to import videos into Adobe Premiere Pro
First let’s open premiere pro
In the welcome screen, lets click on create a new project (on the left side)
In the pop-up window give the project a name and choose a location to store the project files
After creating the project premiere will open and you’ll come to this interface (I’m now on the assembly tab but you may be on a different tab)
on the project panel click the import button and premiere will open the importing window to import the media you want – navigate to the desired location and choose what you want to import and click import
and just like that all the selected (supported) media will be added to the project panel and ready to be edited
